Welcome to Episode 3 of Aoi House!
As a whole, Episode 3 is known as "Echiboo's Big Adventure" and it's going to totally blow you guys and gals away. We're totally out of the introduction phase and the guys are now a part of the girl's little yaoi harem. And that means it's time to play. So get ready for a non-stop stream of...well, you'll see. ^_-
I don't really have much new to report on the Animefringe front today. Thankfully, things are finally calming down a little, so I'm not being drowned in e-mails to reply to. This gave me the opportunity to actually clean up and reorganize the area under my computer desk. That might seem like a strange thing for me to write about in my blog, but it's not something I'd touched since I first set this desk up around the year 2000. Let's just say the dust was so bad that I had to put on a painter's mask to keep myself from having a sinus attack!
What do I keep under my desk? Well, as it's my computer desk, it's where I keep all my old computer games. And when I say old, I mean Sierra and LucasArt's adventure game series old. Stuff like King's Quest, Space Quest, Maniac Mansion, Gabriel Knight, Zork and The 7th Guest are all but forgotten relics in this age of first-person shooters and MMORPGs. To say I miss those types of computer games would be a gross understatement. I love The Sims just as much as the next person, but I miss those old PC adventure games.
Nostalgia aside, there was something I wanted to let you guys and gals know about, but it slipped my mind last week. I missed the premier of the multi-editor project AMV Hell 3: The Motion Picture at Anime Weekend Atlanta this past September, but the guys responsible for it have a torrent up on AMVHell.com. It's truly a...*ahem*...bizarre experience.
If anything, check out the shorter AMV Hell 1 and AMV Hell 2: Son of AMV Hell and you'll get a good idea of what to expect from the hour-long third installment. There is also a AMV Hell 0 that was also released at the same time as 3, but it's quite explicit and definitely not suitable for anyone under 18. You've been warned here and there is a warning on the site. Be sure to follow it.
