Episode 8, Page #1 - "And There They Go..."
Aoi Notes: 06/09/2006
And it's here... The moment you've all been waiting for!
Welcome to the grand debut of Aoi House: Episode 8, which I've affectionately called, "Playful Secrets"!
For Aoi House Volume 2, I wanted to increase the slapstick and try and tell as many stories as I could with the cast. We pick up right where we left off with the cliffhanger ending of Episode 7 (which ends Volume 1) with Alex being dragged off on his date with Carlo. But you kinda already knew that from reading the page. I hate to spoil anything by talking anymore, so I'll leave everything else to your imagination...and a forum debate. ^_-
Well, I haven't spoken much about things here at Seven Seas lately, but we just got Ravenskull Vol. 1 ready and sent off to the printer this week. It'll be ready for Comic-Con. Plus, we're still in a mad dash to make sure Earthsong Vol. 1, Chugworth Academy Vol. 1, Destiny's Hand Vol. 1, and Boogiepop Doesn't Laugh Vol. 2 all get printed and shipped to us so we have copies for sale in time for Anime Expo.
Speaking of cons, we've been in our little rush to get stuff ready and set-up for our booth and panels at both those cons. No plushies this year, but we are working on some other goodies. This is that mad dash week to get stuff ready so we can get it printed and stuff. Gotta get new posters done for the booth and all kinds of other crazy stuff that makes your head hurt. Should be really fun, though. Shiei and me will be at both Anime Expo and Comic-Con this year, so be sure to drop by and get your copies of Aoi House Vol. 1 signed. ^_^
And omg, I just saw page 11 of this very chapter. Shiei just sent it to me... and it's sooo totally awesome. You're gonna love seeing that one! Heck, you're gonna LOVE seeing this entire chapter. Shiei's really stepped up her game during our run on "Fruit Cake Fantasy" and the art here is gorgeous! You're in for a real treat. Hee hee.
So, that's it for today. I'll see you back here on Monday as things really start to get rolling. See you then!
